Perry Pear is our go to happy place to be. We visited for our 1st wedding anniversary but this was our 4th visit to this lovely cottage. Everything is in place for all your needs. We know that as soon as we walk through the door we can just relax! Mitcheldean is well placed for visiting lots of different places in Gloucestershire and if you want a nice walk in the Forest Of Dean just walk straight up the track next to the house and you're there. Much praise has to go out to the hosts Lucy and Mark for their creation of Perry Pear it really is wonderful. They're there if you need them and as always give you a friendly welcome. As we say every time we've stayed, we will be back xx

Exactly....if not better than the website. Clean comfortable cozy( but by no means small) Very well equipped certainly couldn't ask for more except a better internet/ wi-fi connection maybe.

Perfect retreat for 2 with stunning views and in an excellent location. Hosts are very friendly too and the bed is so comfortable!
