Second time here with church summer camp. Great facilities for a large group (80 ppl) and interesting kid-friendly wilderness activities. My kids loved the tunnels, crate stacking, the egg drop, bushcraft and "any activity with a helmet" :)

Daughter has just returned from Y6 residential and had the best time ever. I understand some parents/recent reviews are negative but this is not the feelings of all on the trip. Daughter said food was lovely, had great fun during activities and downtime and hopes trips will continue in the future. Hope that all the children had a lovely time together regardless of venue and that the feelings of a few dont taint there last days together. Thank you to staff and teachers

My Daughter came home yesterday with her Y6 friends, she had a great time, enjoyed the activities and made some of her final primary school memories. The comments made are not the thoughts of all parents. Thank you for giving them a safe environment to explore 🧡

It's a beautiful location, great site and views. But, the accommodation that was booked was not what was provided (foam mats instead of camp beds), the booking end time got cut by a couple of hours, so we had to rush the end of our event and the staff were extremely rude and aggressive towards the few stragglers who were a bit late leaving.

As I remember from being a kid... We went on a school trip and I know I saw a stuffed badger as an ornament but the eyes were glowing red!! If you think I am crazy I don't blame you but I had a feeling that this place was haunted. It anyone knows or if anyone has experienced anything supernatural at this place please let me know. It's a beautiful place and I'd love to go there again. I'm very lucky to live in the forest of dean and now I have a little boy I'll most certainly be taking him to visit. Such a beautiful view too... Apart from the eyesore of the ol'rank xrox site!!! You can see may hill too amongst other beauty spots. What an amazing place. Xx

We had an absolutely fantastic family break in a bell tent last week! The accommodation was great, keeping us warm and dry in the torrential rain, the staff were all super friendly & helpful and the day of activities with Laurence was just brilliant! We will most certainly be back, thank you Simon & the team.

Beautiful countryside surrounding this amazing building. The facilities are in great condition, though each of the bunk rooms only has a single plug socket so bring a multi socket if you plan to charge phones etc!

Want a quick retreat? Get away from it all, maybe even in a group? Would you love to try various activities, supervised by highly qualified, very friendly staff? Well, this is the place to go. Good facilities, great opportunities, friendly people. What's there not to like.

Was great for LARP (Live action Rolplay) events however the new decor does not lend its self well to muddy boots and wet clothing so I would say best for scenarios that don't entail a lot of going outside. Like all sites its very expensive so you have to get the numbers to charge a realistic price.
